Power Pre-Stretch Film Delivery System

Over two years ago, our engineering dept. took on the task of loading film into pre-stretch rollers as easily and safely as possible. Their results gave us "Rapid Thread". One of the most operator friendly and safe film loading power pre-stretch film delivery systems available.

Field Retrofit Carriages
Packaging Rapid Thread power pre-stretch film delivery systems can be retrofitted to 'most' competitive stretch wrappers sold in North America. Ask about our retrofit survey form to evaluate your current wrapper and determine whether or not our Rapid Thread will fit your system. It's an easy process. We can generally have an answer for you within 24 hours.
Heavy duty, safe, reliable and accurate is the best way to describe Rapid Thrad's performance. Pre-stretch levels can be fixed, to range from 110% to 313% (typical 207% for semi-automatics and 250% for automatics as standard). Changing pre-stretch levels is a simple procedure.

Rapid Thread (safety door) with its auto cut-off switch prevents the power pre-stretch rollers from operating when the door is open. This safety interlock ensures a high degree of operator protection when loading film.

Standard procedure: Simply load new roll of film onto its mandrel, open the door, lay film across face of rollers, shut the door and you're ready to run (see diagrams below).
Rapid Thread is available in standard 20" and 30" film roll widths. Modified roll width systems are available upon request.
